New option to lock the purple box

WDW Vacation Planning News

Orlando-area storage provider Owner's Locker is offering customers a new option to seal their bins between visits.

Since its inception in 2007, Owner's Locker has wrestled with the topic of how best to seal guests' lockers.  Now customers can decide for themselves.

The legacy solution employs the use of custom plastic zip ties supplied with the locker.  Owners can seal their own bins as needed--typically when lockers are moved between resorts or villas, or returned to the storage facility.

When time comes to open lockers and access their contents, the plastic ties are desgined to be removed by hand without need for tools or cutting instruments.  But to some, the price for this ease-of-access is a loss of security.

Customers can now opt to use a TSA-approved luggage lock to seal their Owner's Locker.  The Master brand locks feature a 3-digit combination, allowing them to be applied and removed as needed.

The locks are available for a one-time fee of $7.50.  Current Locker owners who wish to purchase a lock are asked to include a message in the special notes section of their next Locker delivery request.

Plastic seals will continue to be available at no cost for customers who prefer that alternative.

Owner's Locker offers a personal storage solution to travelers who frequent the central Florida area.  Customers are supplied with a 25-gallon plastic bin to store all of their vacation essentials. Lockers are delivered to hotels on the guest's scheduled arrival date and collected upon departure.  Over 200 Orlando-area resorts are serviced by Owner's Locker.
