Guests who are still finalizing their plans for a Christmas or New Year's visit to Walt Disney World may want to peruse the resort activity schedules for December 2015.

Unique holiday activities scheduled at Bay Lake Tower

Walt Disney World is currently experimenting with the removal of clock radios from its Deluxe Resorts.  The reasoning behind the move is that--in 2015--few guests actually use the radios.  Disney believes that most guests now rely on smartphones or tablets available to serve a similar function, and would appreciate the extra space on resort night stands made possible without the presence of the clock radio.
