Sales for Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge have been quite strong over the past six months. Thus, it comes as no surprise that more vacation homes have been declared for Copper Creek’s Disney Vacation Club inventory.

On July 12, 2018, Disney made the fifth declaration for Copper Creek, adding 17 more vacation homes to the Disney Vacation Club inventory at Copper Creek that members can book using points. 15 of these vacation homes are located on the sixth floor of the DVC wing at Wilderness Lodge. They include three dedicated studios, five dedicated one-bedroom villas, three lock-off two-bedroom villas, and four dedicated two-bedroom villas. In addition, two more lakefront cabins were declared for the DVC inventory.

Disney has now declared 111 of Copper Creek’s 184 vacation homes. So far, the DVC inventory at Copper Creek includes the following accommodation types:

10 - Dedicated Studios
16 - Dedicated One-Bedroom villas
26 - Lock-off Two-Bedroom villas
40 - Dedicated Two-Bedroom villas
3 - Three-Bedroom Grand Villas
16 - Cabins

In terms of points, this latest declaration is the equivalent of 286,295 DVC points. The DVC inventory now accounts for 2,209,010 points, or 66.50% of Copper Creek’s 3,321,220 total points.

Before Disney can sell DVC points to the general public, it must first declare and add the points to the DVC inventory. Note that these declarations do not impact the specific physical rooms which may be assigned to guests. Limits apply only to the number of villas may be booked using DVC points on each day.

Sales for Copper Creek have increased significantly since the first of the year, averaging well over 145,000 a month. If sales continue at the current pace, the latest declaration of 286,295 points will furnish Disney with enough inventory to support sales for about two months.
