With a resort-wide room refurbishment complete, Deluxe Studios at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are now open to parties of five guests over the age of 3.
During a spring 2014 "hard goods" refurbishment at the Wilderness Lodge, Disney Vacation Club Studio villas were modified to include a fold-down twin size bed. The Murphy Bed joins a queen-size bed and full-size sleeper sofa, raising the sleeping capacity for Deluxe Studios to five guests.
The online reservation feature at DVCMember.com has similarly been updated to allow parties with five guests of any age in a Deluxe Studio at Wilderness Lodge.
A sixth guest under the age of 3 is also permitted.
One Bedroom villas at the Wilderness Lodge also have a maximum occupancy of five guests plus one under the age of 3. However, sleeping accommodations in One Bedroom villas have not been expanded; the rooms are still equipped with a king-size bed plus a queen-size sleeper sofa.
The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is one of only two Disney Vacation Club resorts with Deluxe Studio rooms that sleep five guests plus one under the age of 3. The other resort currently supporting that occupancy level is the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
