Disney has filed more paperwork in conjunction with its rebuild of the Treehouse Villas. Although there has been no firm indication that this project is linked to Disney's timeshare unit, it is worth noting that the owner of the property is listed as "Disney Vacation Development."
This latest "Notice of Commencement" details some of the support infrastructure being added to the property. Included are the following:

LAN Building
Bus Stop South
Bus Stop North
Boat Dock
The Treehouse Villas were most recently considered part of the Disney Institute. In 2001 both the Disney Institute and the Treehouse Villas were closed to guests. Three years later the Disney Institute reopened as Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.
In early 2008 Disney began work to rebuild and reopen the Treehouse Villas. At this time it remains to be seen whether or not the villas will be folded into the Disney Vacation Club.
