Disney's Skyliner reopened earlier this week, restoring convenient transportation between two theme parks, Disney's Riviera Resort and several other Walt Disney World properties.
As previously reported, the Skyliner was closed from January 22-29, 2023 for routine maintenance. January refurbishments have been a regular occurrence for the new transportation option which debuted back in 2019. The Skyliner has closed for up to a week in January in 2021, 2022 and now 2023.
The gondola service reopened as anticipated on January 30, 2023.
Disney's Skyliner connects EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's Riviera Resort and at least 3 other hotels. The station located just outside EPCOT's International Gateway may also be useful for guests of Disney's Beach Club Villas and Disney's BoardWalk Villas hoping to reach select destinations.
No announcements have been made regarding maintenance plans for 2024.
