The new feature pool has begun to take shape in our latest photos of the forthcoming Disney Vacation Club resort.
Since our last update about a month ago, a lot more painting has been completed on the lagoon side of the building. Shades of brown and beige will eventually cover all of the grey concrete core of the resort, along with added decor across the entire building exterior.
The center section of the building is almost entirely beige, with balcony doors installed in all rooms. Large windows are visible on the lower 2-3 floors in this center section, indicating where lobby access will be provided.
Scaffolding covers much of the rightmost portion of the building, with recently installed decor added to the rooftop.
On the left, we get a decent view of the round restaurant located on ground level. Between the buildings are a number of small balconies whose purpose is still not entirely clear.
Finally, concrete has been poured for the feature pool. The zero-entry deck can be seen at the rear. One section to the far left is apparently elevated. This area is expected to also be home to a kids' water play area and sand-covered beach.
The new Polynesian tower is scheduled to open before the end of 2024.
