One of the latest releases in Disney's ever-changing inventory of MagicBand+ plus options is a custom design for Disney's Old Key West Resort.
Guests with upcoming reservations for Walt Disney World resort can pre-order a selection of MagicBands prior to their arrival. One of the current options is this custom design for Old Key West. Depicted above, the band features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a rowboat, along with familiar imagery of the resort's lighthouse, Hospitality House and guest buildings.
The band can be pre-ordered via the MyDisneyExperience.com website. A future Walt Disney World resort reservation, such as a Disney Vacation Club room reservation, must be tied to the account in order to purchase. The band is normally priced at $44.99, but is discounted to $34.99 for the pre-arrival purchase.
MagicBand+ is the latest evolution of the wrist-based technology. Bands can light up in response to certain attractions and nighttime shows, interact with the in-park statues from the 50th anniversary celebration and are utilized as part of an interactive question in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The bands also support all legacy features including theme park entry, Genie+ redemption, touch-to-pay and opening room doors at Disney owned-and-operated hotels.
Each band is available only while supplies last. Other options are available for pre-arrival purchase at rates starting at $24.99.
