Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort

Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will have their lobbies and front desks updated with work on both buildings scheduled to begin Monday, June 28, 2021

Work at Saratoga Springs will begin with a closure of the connecting lounge that runs between the front desk and Artist's Palette. On July 12, the porte cochere is slated to close. Disney's Magical Express will continue to operate from its normal pick-up and drop-off point. However a temporary walkway will be created for guests needing to reach the front desk. Guests arriving in personal vehicles will be directed to the Disney Vacation Club Preview Center for curbside check-in.

Finally, in early August front desk and concierge services will temporarily relocate to the hallway lounge as their normal home in the Carriage House is refurbished.

Similarly, work at Old Key West will begin with renovations to the den adjacent to the resort front desk. Once the den modifiations are complete, it will temporarily house Cast Members as the front desk is refurbished.

No detailed timeline was provided for Old Key West, nor has Disney disclosed a completion date for Saratoga Springs. Upon completion, both resorts will feature an enhanced check-in experience with an open layout and smaller counters for assisting guests.

Saratoga Springs is in the final stages of a 2-year guest room refurbishment which brings new decor and retractable beds to all 828 Disney Vacation Club villas.
