July 19, 2026 is the final day to enjoy Grand Floridian Cafe before it closes for approximately three months.
Back in March, Disney reported that Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa would close in July for a multi-month refurbishment project. The eatery now has a confirmed closing date of July 20, 2026. Reopening is set to occur at an unspecified date in October 2026.
During the closure, Grand Floridian restaurant Narcoossee's will fill the void by serving breakfast from 7:30am to 2:00pm daily.
Grand Floridian Cafe is one of the few spaces at the resort which has not been refurbished in the last several years. Narcoossee's, Michelin star winner Victoria & Albert's and 1900 Park Fare have all been renovated in the last 3 years, along with the resort's guest rooms and villas. Citricos received updates back in 2020. The resort's main lobby was refreshed in 2025, a project which included addition of The Perch lobby bar.
