The Courtyard Pool at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will close for about 6 weeks beginning in mid-January.
From January 13, 2025 to late February, the Grand Floridian's Courtyard Pool, hot tub and pool bar will be closed for refurbishment. The Courtyard Pool is the resort's leisure pool (or quiet pool) located immediately adjacent to the Disney Vacation Club villas in the Big Pine Key building. Disney warns that guests may hear some disturbances during daytime hours in association with the construction project.
Walt Disney World resort pools are commonly refurbished during the cooler winter months. During this closure, the resort's Beach Pool will remain open to guests. Beginning in 2025, all Walt Disney World Resort guests are eligible for free admission to a Disney waterpark on their arrival day. Disney's Blizzard Beach is currently open 10am - 5pm daily, weather permitting.
Reminder that refurbishment timelines are estimates only. The pool may reopen sooner or later than the late-February target, depending upon how quickly the project can be completed.
