Watercraft service to-and-from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort will not be operating the week of September 9, 2024 due to a dock refurbishment project.
Service between the Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom is current unavailable while the resort dock is being refurbished. The project is expected to take about a week, with service restored as early as Saturday, September 14. Note that these timelines are estimates and may be adjusted as work progresses. Signage is present at the resort indicating whether or not the boats are operating. Guests can also inquire at the resort front desk.
During the closure, the Disney monorail will continue to offer service to-and-from the Magic Kingdom. There is also a walking path available which connects the resort to the nearby theme park.
