The restaurant closed back in July 2022 as crews worked from building-to-building refurbishing the resort's guest rooms. Both the Boca Chica and Conch Key buildings which flank Narcoossee's have been renovated, clearing the way for the restaurant's reopening.

An updated menu will focus on "land and sea" cuisine with options that include Blackened Redfish, Roasted Vegetable Paella, Dry Aged Pork Ribeye Chop and Surf and Turf with fillet mignon and lobster tail. A new range of starters and desserts will also be offered. The complete menu with prices can be found on the Disney Dining website. Disney Vacation Club members save 10%.

Narcoossee's will reopen for dinner on April 1, 2023. Dining reservations be available starting March 1, subject to the normal 60 day window.

Over the last 18 months, Disney has refurbished all of the original Disney Vacation Club villas at the Grand Flordian and renovated three older buildings including Boca Chica, Conch Key and Big Pine Key, the latter now home to new DVC Resort Studios. Additional buildings have yet to be updated. Disney has also announced plans to renovate the resort's main lobby, although no timeline has been provided.
