Work on the Disney Vacation Club sections is largely complete, but some disruptions will still be present around Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Grand Floridian's Conch Key building
The Grand Floridian's Big Pine Key building opened back in back in June, adding 202 new Resort Studio rooms to the timeshare program. Still, crews continue to put finishing touches on this stairwell at the eastern side of the building.
Elsewhere, work on the neighboring Boca Chica building is largely complete, aside from nearby Narcoossee's restaurant which is still closed for updates.
Wholesale renovations have moved on to the Conch Key building. All sides are currently covered with scaffolding as crews work on thorough exterior renovations.
Big Pine Key, Boca Chica, Conch Key and Sugarloaf buildings all surround the resort's Courtyard Pool. As a result, construction noise tends to echo across the entire plaza during daytime hours. With two of those four buildings complete, expect work to continue until at least mid-2023 before moving on to the slighly more remote Sago Cay building and perhaps the Main Building.
Inside the resort lobby, the holiday Gingerbread House is as popular as ever.
