February rumors proved to be accurate as Disney has announced that niche ice cream retailer Ample Hills Creamery will soon open a location on Disney's BoardWalk.

Disney's BoardWalk entertainment district lost its primary ice cream service venue when Seashore Sweets' closed earlier this month.  But if rumors are true, a replacement is already in the works.

While crews continue in-room renovations at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, resort work has expanded to the building exterior.
