The green space at the rear of Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villas will be closed off for several weeks beginning August 10, 2026.
The BoardWalk's Village Green courtyard is scheduled to be closed from August 10 through September 4, 2026. The Village Green is the area immediately outside the rear of the resort, bordered by the Inn wing to the east and the Disney Vacation Club villa wing to the west. The space is often utilized for resort activites including Movies Under the Stars.
Activities will move to alternate locations during the closure.
This work comes as Disney continues to update several retail spaces on the BoardWalk, adding a new Basin bath products shop and a multipurpose dining and music venue.
In January 2027, the Luna Park Pool complex will close for an extensive refurbishment, a project that is expected to run into April.
