Disney Vacation Club has updated its reservation system to provide more detailed Grand Villa options at Disney's BoardWalk Villas.
There are only 7 three bedroom Grand Villas at the BoardWalk Villas; two of them spread over two stories while the other five have the entire unit on a single story. Until now, reserving a Grand Villa provided no guarantee as to the layout that would be assigned. However, DVC quietly updated their reservation system to allow guests to specifically reserve either a 1-story or 2-story room.
The costs for both are identical. This new approach simply allows guests to guarantee the type of room that will be assigned at the time the reservation is made. The new booking option appears to go into effect with reservations beginning January 5, 2027.
All of the Grand Villas overlook Disney's BoardWalk. They each sleep up to 12 guests across three private bedrooms. There is also a pull-out sofa in the living room to accommodate two individuals. Costs range from 76 to 145 points per night depending upon the season and day of the week. Owners at BoarWalk Villas can book up to 11 months prior to arrival while non-owners have access to remaining availability 7 months ahead.
