Many exterior areas of Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas is undergoing refurbishment work which is expected to last well into 2017.
Exterior painting and repairs are currently being conducted in many areas of Disney's BoardWalk. Scaffolding completely covers the end of this villa wing which separates the two resort pools on the western side of property.

On the BoardWalk itself, sections are blocked off as workers use large lifts to reach upper areas of the 5-story structure.
Both painting and physical repairs to the exterior of the building were evident.
Disney Vacation Club has not provided any completion estimates for the project. However, guests with reservations thru April 2017 have reported receiving notices that work is planned to occur around the property.
