Walt Disney World continues its project of installing fencing around all resort pools as both the Luna Park and villa quiet pool at Disney BoardWalk Inn & Villas are now enclosed.
Back in 2013, Disney began installing fences around all resort pools. Among the latest resorts to receive the modification is Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas. No MagicBands are required for entry at this time as the fencing appears to be primarily designed as a safety measure. Placards at several entry points list operating hours--currently 9am to 9pm for the BoardWalk main pool--and signage within reminds visitors that pools are intended for the use of resort guests only.
A similar setup exists at the resort quiet pool. However, operating hours are not restricted due to the absence of a slide and other feature pool amenities. Lifeguards are never provided and the pool is typically available 24 hours / day to resort guests.
