Disney Vacation Club members take note: the popular pool complex at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for maintenace from January through May 2025.
While DVC owners can be justifiably frustrated with the amount of notice given for certain refurbishment projects, this time they thankfully informed guests more than a year in advance. From January - May 2025, the entire Stormalong Bay pool complex will be closed. This includes the lazy river, the pirate ship-themed slide and the kid-friendly Shipwreck Pool.
During the closure, the resort's three leisure pools will remain available to guests. This includes the Dunes Cove Pool located near the Disney Vacation Club villa wing, the Tidal Pool on the Beach Club side near the shores of Crescent Lake and the Admiral Pool over at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.

Disney's Beach Club Resort & Villas has been the undergoing a variety of refurbishments in recent months. A portion of the Disney Vacation Club villa rooms were renovated back in the winter, and the rest are scheduled to be completedin the coming months. The main lobby is currently receiving updates, along with Beach Club hotel rooms. The Dunes Cove quiet pool is slated for refurbishment from October 2 through early December.
