August 16 brings a new selection of menu items to Contempo Cafe located at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
Just days after updating the menu for The Artist's Palette at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, the culinary team has changed things up at another Walt Disney World quick service venue. Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary Resort debuts a new menu with several new entrees, but a heavy focus on desserts and other sweets.
During breakfast hours, a new Breakfast Flatbread is available featuring Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Gravy, Cheddar, Bacon, and Chives. Also a new Minnie Mouse-themed Cinnamon Roll, which has been dipped in white chocolate.
For Lunch and Dinner, diners will find the Four-Cheese Grilled Cheese & Tomato-Basil Soup and a new Spicy Chicken Sandwich featuring crispy chicken breast topped with pepper jack, chipotle rémoulade, arugula, seasoned tomato, and dill pickle chips served on a brioche bun.
After 4pm, a selection of rice bowls will be available including the Braised Beef Bowl, Grilled Chicken Bowl and Grilled Shrimp Bowl. Each of the bowls includes protein along with rice and vegetables.
Also new are a variety of sweet treats including Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums Cupcake, Monorail S'More Brownie and the 5-Legged Goat Fruit Tart which celebrate's Mary Blair's famous mural on the Contemporary concourse.
