Buffet dining is set to return to Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort in early 2023.
February 28 will be the final day for family-style dining at Chef Mickey's as the restaurant reopens its buffet on March 1, 2023. Like many other restaurants at Walt Disney World, Chef Mickey's eliminated the self-serve buffet during the height of the pandemic. Disney has been gradually reintroducing buffets at its restaurants. Chef Mickey's is one of the last locations to make this transition with spots such as Cape May Cafe, Crystal Palace and Boma - Flavors of Africa having reintroduced their buffets more than a year prior.
Buffet restaurant 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa remains closed with no news regarding its future.
Chef Mickey's currently serves breakfast and lunch, and features a lineup of roaming Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Pluto.
