Silver Creek Pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Villas recently reopened following a lenghty fall refurbishment. Many changes to the pool area have already been implemented while a new themed water play area is yet to come.

On December 1, 2014, Wilderness Lodge'sSilver Creek Pool reopened after undergoing a major rehab. Work was done on the pool's bottom and fencing was installed around the perimeter of the pool.
In addition, a small portion of the Silver Creek's pool deck is now devoted for an outdoor seating area for the Trout Pass Pool Bar. The seating area is now separated from the pool by the new fence.
Work continues on the new water play area that will be adjacent to the Silver Creek Pool.
It appears the new wilderness-themed play area will be similar to the water play areas added to the pools at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. No date has been set for the opening, but Cast Members at the Wilderness Lodge hope it will open in the next month or so.
