11 month planners take note: the main pool will be closed at this Disney Vacation Club resort in early 2023.
High Rock Spring, the orignal feature pool located at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, will be closed for refurbishment for nearly 3 months at the start of 2023. From January through late-March, the entire pool complex and neighboring On the Rocks Pool Bar will be unavailable to resort guests.
High Rock Spring is located just outside the Carriage House check-in building, behind The Artist's Palette.
During this closure, the Paddock-area feature pool will remain open. The Paddock Pool includes all of the expected feature pool amenities including a water slide, zero entry deck, kids' play area and hot tub. The resort also has three leisure pools located in Congress Park, The Grandstand and near the Treehouse Villas.

Disney seems to be making greater effort to announce pool refurbishments far in advance, which is particularly beneficial to Disney Vacation Club members. Back in August it was revealed that the Contemporary's main pool would also be closed for refurbishment in early 2023. Note this does not impact Bay Lake Tower's Bay Cove pool. Presently the Samawati Springs pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is closed for a refurbishment which is expected to run through April 2022.
