The Orlando Sentinel's Jason Garcia is reporting that Disney has altered its plans for naming the forthcoming Disney Vacation Club component at its Contemporary Resort.  Originally dubbed the Kingdom Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, it now appears the facility will go by the name Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Website WDWMagic.com has posted photos showing the start of construction on the bridge which will link the Contemporary Tower with the building that will house the rumored DVC Kingdom Tower Villas.  Click HERE to view the photos.

Website TouringPlans.com has posted some recent photos of construction at the Contemporary's Kingdom Tower.  Depicted in one of the images is a marked-up section of the Contemporary Tower where the elevated walkway between the two buildings will connect.

Nine floors down...six to go!

Framing work continues to progress at a furious pace on the new Kingdom Tower structure.  But with a fall 2009 projected opening (according to construction permits), there is still quite a bit to be done.
