Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village is the latest Disney Vacation Club resort to undergo scheduled maintenance.
WDW News Today is reporting that roof replacement work is set to begin at Kidani Village on February 1, 2023. The work is expected to continue into September. No guest rooms or amenities are expected to close for extended periods to facilitate the project.
The resort's Samawati Springs pool, bus stops and other public areas were refurbished in 2022. Disney Vacation Club villas should be headed for a full refurbishment in the near future, however the project was not on a schedule of 2023 and 2024 refurbishements shared by DVC back in December.
Guest rooms at Disney's Beach Club Villas and Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Contemporary Resort are currently being updated. Disney's BoardWalk Villas is on the schedule for later this year with Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort planned for 2024.
