The 25th anniversary celebration for Disney California Adventure and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel includes a new character appearance and souvenir merchandise.
February 8, 2026 marks 25 years since the opening of Disneyland's second theme park and adjoining hotel. Disney is celebrating with a variety of limited time offerings at Disney California Adventure including:
- The original Soarin' Over California returns February 6 for a limited engagement.
- Schmoozies! will offer a limited time selection of treats from February 6-15. Included are a cake shake, confetti shake with strawberry icing and slice of cake.
- A limited time bucket modeled after Pixar Pal-A-Round ferris wheel.
- Anniversary clothing and other merchandise available in Elias & Co and Seaside Souvenirs beginning February 6.
- On February 8, a special commmemorative theme park map will be distributed to guests, while supplies last.
At Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, Humphrey the Bear will be added to the dinnertime character roster at Storytellers Cafe beginning February 6th. Humphrey appears in several Disney animated shorts, and was the inspiration for Humphrey’s Service & Supplies at Disney California Adventure.
A new limited edition pin celebrating the Grand Californian is now available while supplies last at Acorns Gifts & Goods.
