Throughout the summer months, Disney Vacation Club members staying at the Vero Beach Resort will be able to dine with Donald andGoofy decked-out in their pirate garb.

Disney Vacation Club has revealed that wireless Internet service is now available at Disney's Vero Beach Resort.  The service is complimenary to all DVC members using points to stay at the resort.  There is a $9.95 per day charge for other guests.

Vero Beach, Florida has long been home to the Los Angeles Dodgers' Dodgertown Spring Training complex.  Recently Disney took time out to salute former manager and Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda.

Wabasso Beach Park will be closed through Thursday, February 14th as county leaders have given Disney approval to use the park as a staging area for its beachfront replacement project.  Website TCPalm.com tells us that some local residents aren't particularly thrilled with the move.

Back in October ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition sent a needy family to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort while their house was being renovated.  This time the Disney and ABC are highlighting Disney's Vero Beach Resort.
