With Hurricane Dorian now making its way northward, the Disney Vacation Club resort will soon reopen to guests. 

Disney Vacation Development is reportedly in talks to rid itself of 26 acres of unused land adjacent to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. 

All beach access points in the Vero Beach and Indian River County areas are closed until further notice due to the presence of toxic red tide.

Two Disney Vacation Club resorts were forced to close as Hurricane Irma approached.  One is due to reopen later this week while the other remains in limbo.
