The feature pool and surrounding amenities at Disney's Vero Beach Resort will be closed for up to 4 months in early 2028.
Beginning January 10, 2028 the feature pool, Tiger Lily Water Play Area and Port Holes Miniature Golf at Vero Beach resort will be closed for maintenance. The project is expected to run though April 2028. During the closure, guests may see and hear construction disturbances during daytime hours.
Cooler winter months are a popular time for refurbishment work on Disney resort pools. Vero Beach Resort does sit on the Atlantic Coast with beach access available. There is no leisure pool available at the resort.
Guest rooms at Disney's Vero Beach Resort were completely refurbished back in 2024. Exterior refurbishment of resort buildings has been taking place throughout 2026.
Vero Beach opened back in October 1995. It was just the second Disney Vacation Club property after what is currently known as Disney's Old Key West Resort.
