Disney Vacation Club has historically been a point-based timeshare system in which members can utilize their ownership toward multiple resorts, villa sizes and seasons. But with the introduction of the Aulani resort in Hawai'i, DVC is poised to enter the world of fixed-week timeharing.
With advance sales for Disney's Aulani resort set to begin in just two days, we have obtained some new information about the Disney Vacation Club villa configuration, building opening dates and even dates on which members can begin making reservations.
The 2011 points chart for Disney's Aulani resort in Hawai'i have been posted on line. Click on the link below to view. Note that this link will redirect to a PDF document on an official Disney site. While vacationing at Disneyland we managed to learn a few new things about the Aulani resort development including the date on which points will go on sale.
On June 30, D23 club members have an opportunity to get a sneak peek at the Aulani villas currently being constructed in Ko Olina, Hawai'i.
