2016 Condo Meeting Details Set

Disney Vacation Club has announced the date, location and time for the 2016 Condominium Association Meeting.

The next condo meeting will take place in the convention center at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort on Thursday, December 8, 2016.  The Board of Directors meeting is slated to begin at 2:00pm eastern with the Members Meeting immediately following at approximately 2:10pm.  

Owners planning to attend can now RSVP at http://www.dvcrsvponlineevent.com.  

The meetings will also be simulcast at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel for owners living on the west coast.  

During the meetings, Disney Vacation Club executives and the Board of Directors will ratify resort budgets for the coming year, discuss upcoming refurbishments and resort enhancements, and provide a general "state of the program" update to owners.  An informal reception typically follows the scripted meetings, during which owners can speak directly with DVC executives and resort general managers. 

For the seventh straight year, DVCNews.com will be on-hand providing live updates as the condo meeting occurs.

My question if Disney can simulcast the meeting to California why can't it be offered to interested DVC members at their home computers ? I would really LOVE to be able to be included and have the ability to address my concerns if any.

Agreed. If companies can have virtual meeting why can't DVC. I know Disney itself has held Virtual Shareholder Meetings VSM. Why can't DVC

Apparently there's no legal requirement to offer a teleconferencing option, and I'm guessing that's 99.9% of the reason why they don't do it.
