Now through January 3, 2010 Disney Vacation Club members can receive a 50% discount off of all makeover packages at The Pirate League.
The Pirate League is a new variaion on Disney's successful Bibbidy Bobbidi Boutique makeover program. Located near the exit to Walt Disney World's Pirates of the Caribbean, guests can choose from among several packages which include face painting, temporary tattoos, pirate gear and--for the right price--full costumes.
Allears.net is reporting that DVC members can currently receive a 50% discount on all packages offered at The Pirate League. The offer is valid now through January 3, 2010. Proof of Disney Vacation Club membership is required, along with theme park admission. For reservations call 407-WDW-CREW.

My thoughts exactly. They may have been about 3-4 years too late with this concept. I know there are still folks who are into the pirate thing, but you need more than just a trickle of customers to justify something like this.
If the new PotC film stays on course and other projects come to fruition (animated series?), they may be able to milk this for a few years. But we're certainly in the midst of a lull in mainstream pirate hoopla.
