Disney Vacation Club has updated its incentive program for new point purchases or add-ons. Buyers can choose between a healthy price reduction or a set of one-time-use Developer's Points. Unfortunately, new owners are also subject to a higher base price.
New Disney Vacation Club members will now pay a bit more to purchase points. The base price for Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas and Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has risen from $150 per point to $155 per point. Current owners still have until February 11, 2014 to add points at the $150 base price for these two resorts.
Meanwhile, promoational discounts for Aulani have changed a bit, with buyers able to choose between larger cash discounts or a one-time additional set of points. Incentives are as follows:

100-159 points: $155 base price less $1 per point and $1000 Developer Credit
160-219 points: $155 base price less $2 per point and $1600 Developer Credit
220-319 points: $155 base price less $3 per point and $2200 Developer Credit
320-999 points: $155 base price less $4 per point and $3200 Developer Credit
1000+ points: $155 base price less $5 per point and $3200 Developer Credit
In lieu of the Developer Credit buyers can opt to receive one-time-use Developer's Points equal to the amount purchased. For example, a purchase of 350 points would entitle the buyer to an additional 350 points which can only be used once. If the Developer's Points are selected, the $3200 Developer Credit is not offered.
Pricing for current owners adding points at Aulani is a bit better given the $150 base price and higher incentives.

160-219 points: $150 base price less $3 per point and $1600 Developer Credit
220-319 points: $150 base price less $4 per point and $2200 Developer Credit

1000+ points: $150 base price less $6 per point and $3200 Developer Credit
Add-on buyers can also choose the matching Developer's Points in lieu fo the Developer Credit.
Disney Vacation Club continues to withhold incentives on Grand Floridian purchases. Prices are a flat $155 for new buyers and $150 for add-ons, plus closing costs and other applicable fees.
With few points left in its inventory at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, incentives for that property have reportedly been discontinued.
