In 2010 Disney will introduce tiered seasonal pricing for the Disney Dining Plan.  However, according to Disney Vacation Club members will be exempt from paying the higher prices being charged to most cash guests.

On several occasions Disney Vacation Club president Jim Lewis has committed to bringing on-line reservations to DVC members sometime in 2010.  It appears that commitment is moving closer to becoming a reality.

Prior to their scheduled arrival, Disney Vacation Club members can arrange to have groceries delivered to their villa from the resort general stores.  Grocery lists have recently been updated to include all DVC resorts including the recently-opened Grand Californian and Bay Lake Tower.

On Monday, September 28 Disney Vacation Club Member Services will open at 8am eastern--one hour earlier than usual--to accept reservations for the 2011 Disney Cruise Line voyages.  Monday marks the start of the DCL booking period for Sliver level Castaway Club members and the general public.  Additional details follow.

The 2009 hurricane season is a little more than half over, and thankfully the impact on US residents has been extremely light.  Still the possibility exists for Disney vacations to be impacted by the elements between now and the end of November.  With that in mind, let's take a look at Disney Vacation Club's policies regarding the cancellation and re-scheduling of trips impacted by hurricane warnings.
