If you have been unable to access your membership details on DVCMember.com today...you are not alone.  The site has been undergoing maintenance for most of the day today.  No word yet on when these features may be restored. 

Disney Vacation Club members have an opportunity to secure half-price tickets to select performances of Cirque du Soleil this fall.

Disney Vacation Club has sent an email blast to members listing a number of new membership perks available.  The perks include discounts on Broadway show tickets, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney Cruises and more. 

Today is the day!  At 9:00am (eastern) on Sunday, November 2nd, the Member Services phone lines will open to begin booking the 2009 SS Member Cruise.

Since it bears repeating, here are a couple of important tips.  If you want to have a choice of any stateroom category, you must call on the first booking day--preferrably as early as possible.  Each category has a limited supply of rooms and when they're gone...they are gone.  Also be prepared for long wait times on the phone.  Booking a cruise takes much longer than a normal DVC reservation and even with a full compliment of agents working, callers may have to wait several hours to make their reservation.
