Disney Vacation Club Member Services is reporting that members are no longer eligible to receive free valet parking at Walt Disney World resorts.  Effective Sunday October 11, 2009, DVC members using valet parking services will be charged a fee of $12 per day. Resorts impacted by this move include the Animal Kingdom Villas, Bay Lake Tower, Beach Club, BoardWalk and Wilderness Lodge.

Members staying at the above DVC resorts can continue to utilize the self-parking lots at no charge.

Disney has added to the list of nights for which Disney Vacation Club members can purchase discount tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

During the recently completed 2009 S.S. Member Cruise the dates were announced for the 2010 sailing.  The 2010 voyage will be another 4-night cruise departing from Port Canaveral on Sunday, September 12 and returning on Thursday, September 16, 2010.  Itineraray and booking details have not yet been released.

Disney pin trading has become quite the pastime and Disney Vacation Club pin collectors have certainly not been ignored.  Here is a quick preview of a number of DVC-branded pins scheduled for release in the coming weeks, most of which are available exclusively to members.

Earlier this week Tables in Wonderland announced that cardholders would receive priority booking priviledges and discounts for ticketed events at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.  Turns out Disney Vacation Club members are also eligible for this perk.
