The weekly gathering for Disney Vacation Club members has undergone some recent changes including the apparent retirement of "first lady" Deevy See.

This week Disney announced that Walt Disney World's Fantasyland expansion will officially open December 6, 2012 with previews for select audiences starting on November 19, 2012.  Will Disney Vacation Club members be eligible to attend the preview days?

Disney Vacation Club members will receive discounted rates and early booking privileges for many 2012 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival seminars.

The official Disney Vacation Club members-only website has streamlined the manner in which member perks are documented.  

Earlier this year Disney Vacation Club and Disney Cruise Line blazed new territory by offering special fares to members looking to cruise in June 2012.  It appears the offer was not a one-time offering as new specials have just been announced for select voyages in September '12.
