January is usually a good month for direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points, and January 2019 was no different.

Buyers in the market for Disney Vacation Club points were recently hit by a double whammy in the form of higher prices and a decrease in promotional incentives. Meanwhile the promotion's end date may foreshadow the sales start date for Disney's Riviera Resort. 

Disney Vacation Club is set to increase its selling prices with some resorts rising as much as $40 per point.

In 2018, Disney Vacation Club direct sales started strong, but by the end of the calendar year sales weakened to its lowest point in two years.

2019 Annual Dues balances have been posted to Disney Vacation Club owners' online accounts.
