Reminder that on Thursday, February 3, 2022, Disney Vacation Club is set to increase prices $6 each for the two resorts currently in active sales. The base price for Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas and Disney's Riviera Resort will rise from $201 to $207 each.

In past years, price increases were accompanied by a modest increase to buy-in incentives, which helped offset some of the higher fee. However, DVC has already stated that current incentives will remain in place until March 2, 2022. Currently, 200 points at Aulani is priced at a net $179 for new buyers and $171 for existing members adding-on. The same 200 points at Riviera go for $193 to new owners and $188 for current members. All of those rates are expected to rise by $6 on February 3rd.

Refer to our prior coverage for discounts at various purchase levels; note the incentives which ran through December 15, 2021 have now expired. Contact a Disney Vacation Club salesperson by February 2 to confirm pricing and lock-in at the current prices.

Also imminent is the resumption of sales for Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Disney had previously revealed plans to convert 200 hotel rooms in the Big Pine Key building to DVC studios. Sales on these new points may begin as early as Thursday. Point charts for the new Resort Studio villas were revealed back in December. The new rooms are being added to the same condominium association as the original Grand Floridian buildout, therefore 2022 annual dues will be the same $7.01 per point. The new rooms are expected to be available beginning summer 2022.
