Prices Rise on Beach Club, BoardWalk Points

Financial News & Pricing

Buying points direct from Disney Vacation Club just got more expensive for several properties.

Disney's BoardWalk Villas

Disney Vacation Club has increased prices for four of its fifteen locations: Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort

Resort Old Rate New Rate
Disney's Beach Club Villas $245 $265
Disney's BoardWalk Villas $210 $230
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort $140 $155
Disney's Vero Beach Resort $125 $140

All four resorts feature contract end dates of January 31, 2042, giving buyers about 20 years of use before the points expire.

Points for these resorts are typically available at lower prices via the resale marketplace. However, a direct purchase from DVC is the only way to quality for Membership Magic perks and benefits, and to access reservations at all current and future DVC locations. Resale points are currently blocked from accessing Riviera, and the same will likely be true with the forthcoming development at Disneyland Hotel in California.

Disney Vacation Club previously announced that the base price for Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas and Disney's Riviera Resort will rise from $201 to $207 each on February 3, 2022. Incentives are available for both resorts, reducing the price further. Aulani ownership runs into January 2062, while Riviera points do not expire until January 2070.

DVC is also preparing to restart active sales on the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Construction of 200 Resort Studio villas has been announced, adding to the 100 two bedroom equivalent villas which debuted back in 2013. All Grand Floridian points will carry a contract end date of January 2064. Points charts have been released for the Resort Studio rooms for 2022 and 2023. Sales are expected to resume within the next several weeks at an undisclosed price point.
