Disney Vacation Club members willing to travel on 30 days notice can take advantage of some nice savings when trading into an RCI resort.
DVC has announced that for a limited time, members can save 30% or more when booking an RCI destination using their points if the reservation is made within 30 days of travel. The savings comes in the form of a points reduction off the normal cost to trade DVC points for the desired RCI destination.
The limited time offering begins with reservations made on April 4, 2017. Since the reservations must be booked on 30 days notice or less, the latest check-in date permitted when the perk launches will be May 4, 2017.
The last day members can make the discounted RCI bookings will be June 30, 2017 for check-in dates as late as July 29.
Disney Vacation Club had previously announced that the standard $95 RCI transaction fee is waived through the end of 2017. The fee waiver will also apply to these discounted reservations.
RCI resorts in The Registry Collection are not eligible for this points reduction.
