Disney's Beach Club Villas

Back in 2008, Disney Vacation Club partnered with timeshare trading company RCI to facilitate trades between owners.  A DVC member looking for a Colorado ski adventure or a week in the Caribbean can effectively swap a number of their Disney points in exchange for a resort stay in some location where DVC does not have a presence.

RCI members trading into most Disney Vacation Club properties have always been subject to a cash "resort fee" of $95 per stay.  That fee has now been doubled to $190 per stay.

The resort fee is designed to cover a variety of products and services offered by Disney resorts which are not part of owner dues.  Included in these services are the Disney's Magical Express airport transportation, theme park transportation, MagicBands, parking at Disney theme parks and more.

The $190 fee applies only to inbound trades to most DVC destinations.  The same fee applies regardless of the length of stay.  Trades to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort are not subject to the fee.

For more information regarding RCI trades, visit RCI.com, DVCMember.com or discuss on the DVCNews forum.
