Check out the temporary members-only lounge currently in place at EPCOT's Odyssey Pavilion.
Since 2016, Disney Vacation Club owners have had a private space to escape the Florida heat inside EPCOT's Imagination Pavilion. Now through July 14, the current lounge is closed to owners due to a scheduled refurbishment project. In the meantime, the Odyssey Pavilion serves as home for a temporary replacement lounge.
Only about 1/2 of the pavilion is actually reserved for owners. It is a somewhat bare bones presentation, fitting this temporary relocation.
There is plenty of seating, though it does not seem as comfortable as the cushioned chairs installed at the usual site. Also absent are the self service Coca Cola Freestyle machines. A small selection of soft drinks and bottled water are available.
Cast Members are on hand to help distribute snacks like pretzels, graham crackers and Doritos.
The lounge is open to qualifying members and their guests from 11:00am to 6:00pm daily. The Odyssey Pavilion is located off the walkway nearest Test Track between World Discovery and the World Showcase.
There is no word on what visible changes, if any, are planned for the permanent EPCOT lounge. Disney Vacation Club previously announced that a new lounge is planned for some location at Walt Disney World but the exact site has not been revealed. Early rumors suggested a location in Magic Kingdom's Frontierland but those rumors have since gone unconfirmed.
