Those recently-purchased Premium Annual Passes will only net a 20% merchandise savings for a few more days.
Back in October Disney Vacation Club members gained access to a deeply-discounted Walt Disney World Premium Annual Pass for only $399, a savings of $300 off the regular price. In addition to unlimited admission to all Florida parks, one of the perks of this pass is a 20% savings on nearly all merchandise purchases throughout Walt Disney World. Unfortunately that perk is now slated to end on December 31, 2012.
Effective January 1, the Premium Annual Pass merchandise discount drops to just 10%. The savings level matches the merchandise discount now available to Disney Vacation Club owners who present their member ID at the time of purchase.
The lower Premium AP savings level will apply to all passholders regardless of the date their pass was acquired.
