In the past Disney Vacation Club has allowed existing members to add as few as 25 additional points to their ownership at a DVC resort. However in January that minimum will change for at least one Home resort.
Effective January 15, 2009, current DVC members wishing to add points at the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be required to purchase at least 100 points. Add-on purchases of 25-99 points remain available today at the base rate of $112 per point, but that priviledge will end in January '09.
This change is slated to impact only add-on purchases at the Bay Lake Tower. Members will still be able to add as few as 25 points at all other DVC resorts.
