The Flavor Lab is where Disney chefs create and test everything from new cocktails to foods to dishware and utensils for restaurants. Featured prominently are items clearly under consideration for Roundup Rodeo BBQ, the new restaurant under construction at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The segment discusses how long it takes new food concepts to actually make it to restaurant menus, the review process, and more. The view features a preview of new items for "a DVC location" featuring sandwiches on fresh-baked bread. These are likely items now available at the recently-opened BoardWalk Deli.
