After two months of declining sales, direct sales of Disney Vacation Club points perked up in December 2025, resulting in overall better than average sales for the calendar year.
In December 2025, Disney sold 170,057 Disney Vacation Club points for the 12 DVC timeshare resorts located at World Disney World, a 43.1% improvement over the 118,802 points sold in November 2025. For the calendar year, Disney sold 1,873,089 for these 12 resorts, more than the 1,693,637 points sold in 2024 and the 1,712,488 points sold in 2023.
All three Walt Disney World resorts being actively marketed beat their yearly averages in December. Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows finished the year averaging 77,565 points per month; Disney’s Riviera Resort averaged 55,656 points; and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort averaged 8,817 points.
Small, 25-point add-on deeds continue to draw interest from DVC Members. Seventeen such deeds were sold in December 2025. Eight different resorts, including Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, recorded at least one 25-point deed with the Polynesian having the most with seven.

The largest single deed sold in December 2025 was a 1,350-point deed for the Polynesian. The Polynesian also sold a 600-point deed, a 510-point deed, and a 500-point deed. The largest deeds sold for the Riviera were three 500-point deeds.
Disney’s Riviera Resort — In December 2025, 61,237 points were sold for Riviera. Disney has sold 5,609,145 points, about 83.2% of the resort’s 6,739,966 total points.
As the timeshare developer, Disney is obligated to retain at least two percent of the Riviera’s total points, leaving about 996,000 points it can sell to the general public. Over the last 12 months the resort has averaged 55,656 points in monthly sales. If sales continue at that rate, it would take about 16 to 18 months for Riviera to be completely sold out. Much will depend on how many points Disney chooses to retain in excess of the two percent it is required to keep for itself.
No Fixed Week deeds were sold in December. So far, the resort has sold 150 Fixed Week deeds, of which 72 deeds are for the last five weeks of the year.
Only 20 of the Riviera’s 341 vacation homes have not been declared for the DVC inventory. The DVC inventory now accounts for 5,817,509 points, or 94.4% of the Riviera’s 6,7 million total points. In all likelihood this declaration was the penultimate declaration before the Riviera is fully declared for the DVC condominium association.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort — In December 2025, 11,245 points were sold for the Cabins, the fourth time in five months that sales exceeded the 10,000-point threshold.
Disney has now sold 172,435 points for the Cabins, which is about 6.2% of the resort’s estimated 2,780,943 total points. It is now averaging 7,497 points a month in sales.
Based on the Cabins’ total number of points and the number of cabins the resort will have when fully declared, each cabin has been allotted about 7,661 points. Given the number of points sold so far, Disney has “sold” about 22.5 cabins worth of points.
Another Fixed Week deed was sold in December, bringing to 25 the number of Fixed Week deeds for the resort. The most popular week with nine Fixed Week deeds is Week #43, which usually includes Halloween. The only other weeks with multiple deeds are Weeks #49, #50, and #52, with two deeds each.
Disney has declared 63 cabins for the timeshare inventory. DVC members will be able to book using points up to 63 cabins on any given Use Day. There are still another 300 cabins that have not yet been declared. Disney will be able to use these 300 cabins for cash rentals or any other purpose it desires.
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows — In December 2025, 82,321 points were sold for Polynesian, its best month since 91,219 points were sold in March 2025. Disney has sold 1,176,438 points (32.6%) of the 3,608,934 points allotted to the residential units at the Polynesian’s Island Tower.
Island Tower has averaged 77,565 points a month in the last 12 months. At that pace, the resort is still on pace to be sold out in about two and a half years.
In December, no Fixed Week deed were sold for accommodations at Island Tower. Disney has sold 39 Fixed Week deeds for Island Tower.
On October 14, 2025, Disney declared 23 more vacation homes for the timeshare inventory at Island Tower. This latest declaration increases the number of vacation homes that DVC members can book using points from 84 to 107. There are still 115 vacation homes at Island Tower that have not yet been declared and are still under the control of Disney. The declared inventory accounts for 1,751,673 points, which is 48.5% of the Island Tower’s 3,608,934 estimated total points.
The Orange County, California, Clerk Recorder is the source for public information about sales for the Disney Vacation Club resorts located at the Disneyland Resort. Beginning in January 2025, its public website no longer displays the deed document tax amount for deeds recorded with the county. Since the tax amount was the only way to infer the number of DVC points for each deed, it is no longer possible to estimate the number of points sold for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel or The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel timeshare. Therefore, sales data for these resorts will no longer be included in the monthly sales report.
The sales data includes all 12 DVC resorts at Walt Disney World, as well as Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. Point sales data is not available for The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel or The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. The data is compiled from deeds filed by Disney Vacation Development and recorded with the Orange County (FL) Comptroller, the Indian River County (FL) Clerk of Court, and the Beaufort County (SC) Register of Deeds. Thanks to Chris and Dan for assisting in the compilation of the sales data.
