Disney Vacation Club had its best February for direct sales in 5 years, but could not quite match the numbers from January 2025.
In February 2025, 170,273 Disney Vacation Club points were sold for the 12 DVC timeshare resorts located at World Disney World. It was the fewest number of points sold for these resorts since 132,570 points were recorded in September 2024. However, it was the best sales for the month of February since 173,927 points were sold in 2020. In addition, February’s sales are well above the 141,136 points the Walt Disney World resorts averaged for the months in calendar year 2024.
Similar to what happened in January 2025, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows was first in sales followed by Disney’s Riviera Resort. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort were a distant third. In February, Disney resumed selling deeds for The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Sixteen deeds containing 1,486 points were sold, marking the first sales for the resort since a single deed was recorded on May 13, 2024. All 16 deeds were drawn from residential units in the original Grand Floridian building.
The largest deed sold in February was a 1,100-point deed for the Polynesian. The single largest Riviera deed sold was a 800-point deed.
Disney’s Riviera Resort — In February, 72,071 points were sold for Riviera. Disney has now sold 5125,793 Riviera points, about 76.1% of the resort’s 6,739,966 total points.
Disney began selling points for Riviera Resort on March 27, 2019 and the first deeds were recorded on April 12, 2019. Since then, it has averaged 73,226 points in monthly sales. The resort continues to be on pace to be completely sold out by the last calendar quarter of 2026. However, Disney can consider a resort to be “sold out” at any time. In the past, Disney has considered some other resorts to be “sold out” when only 95% or less of a resort has been sold.
Only one Fixed Week deed was sold for Riviera in February. Disney has sold 141 Fixed Week deeds for the resort with the majority — 77 — sold for the last six weeks of the year.
Disney has declared 294 of the Riviera’s 441 vacation homes for the timeshare inventory at the resort. There are still 47 vacation homes that have not yet been declared and are still under the control of Disney. The DVC inventory now accounts for 5,817,509 points, or 86.3% of the Riviera’s 6,7 million total points.
Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort — Sales for the Fort Wilderness cabins began on February 1, 2024, and the first deeds were recorded on February 19, 2024. In February 2025, 8,680 points were sold for the Cabins, the third most in the resort’s brief history.
Disney has now sold 85,447 points for the Cabins, which is about 3.1% of the resort’s estimated 2,780,943 total points.
One Fixed Week deed was sold, bringing to 16 the number of Fixed Week deeds for the resort. The most popular week is Week #43 with six Fixed Week deeds. Week #43 starts on October 26 in 2025.
Disney has declared 63 cabins for the timeshare inventory. DVC members will be able to book using points up to 63 cabins on any given Use Day. There are still another 300 cabins that have not yet been declared. Disney will be able to use these 300 cabins for cash rentals or any other purpose it desires.
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows — In February, 78,458 points were sold for the Polynesian. Disney has sold 416,033 points (11.5%) of the 3,608,934 points allotted to the residential units at the Polynesian’s Island Tower.
Island Tower has averaged 83,330 points a month since the first deeds were recorded in October 2024. If the resort were to maintain that pace, it would take less than 38 months before all its points would be sold.
In February, two Fixed Week deeds were sold for accommodations at Island Tower, increasing the number of such deeds to 26. Exactly half of the 26 Fixed Week deeds are for weeks in the last three calendar months of the year.
Disney has declared seven residential units containing 54 of Islands Tower’s 222 vacation homes for the resort’s timeshare inventory. These residential units have been allotted 849,652 points, which is 23.5% of the tower’s timeshare inventory. There are still 168 vacation homes at Island Tower that have not yet been declared and are still under the control of Disney.
The Orange County, California, Clerk Recorder is the source for public information about sales for the Disney Vacation Club resorts located at the Disneyland Resort. Beginning in January 2025, its public website no longer displays the deed document tax amount for deeds recorded with the county. Since the tax amount was the only way to infer the number of DVC points for each deed, it is no longer possible to estimate the number of points sold for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel or The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel timeshare. Therefore, sales data for these resorts will no longer be included in the monthly sales report.
The sales data includes all 12 DVC resorts at Walt Disney World, as well as Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. Point sales data is not available for The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel or The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. The data is compiled from deeds filed by Disney Vacation Development and recorded with the Orange County (FL) Comptroller, the Indian River County (FL) Clerk of Court, and the Beaufort County (SC) Register of Deeds.
Thanks to Chris from DVC.market for assisting in the compilation of the sales data!
