The base price of Disney Vacation Club's actively selling properties will rise in the new year.
Disney's Riviera Resort
Effective January 30, 2024, the base rate for the three actively selling resorts is going up. Points at Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas and Disney's Riviera Resort will rise from the current $217 per point to $225 each. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel increases from $230 per point to $239 each.
This is the first price increase since December 2022 when Aulani and Riviera rose from $207 each to $217 per point.
The current $230 rate for Disneyland Hotel has been in place since sales launched in spring 2023.
DVC's sales incentives are also due to reset at the end of January. Current promotions offer a discount of about $2800 for a first-time buyer of 200 points at Disney's Riviera Resort. Current owners save $3800 on the same 200 points. Other promotions like "Welcome Home" and Magical Beginnings can further reduce the price. See our prior coverage for additional details about the current incentives, which are set to end January 29 on the eve of the price increase.
These increases come as Disney Vacation Club prepares to launch two new resorts in 2024. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is set to open in the summer of 2024 and the new tower at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will debut toward the end of the year. DVC has not yet revealed when point sales will begin for either destination.
